The story was something that I haven't seen in a fantasy RPG game (hell RPG's in general), its very personal, not focused on some big bad. While most seem to agree that Origins is overall the best DA game (which is understandable) I actually prefer DA2 over DA:I as well although the former got lots of backlash while DA:I won GOTY and was well received.įor me DA2 was very refreshing.
